The ClickShare Base Units and Buttons can be categorized into three distinct families, and their Buttons will only work within that family. Not all Buttons work with every Base Unit.Quit the ClickShare Desktop App first and then pair the Button, see. Make sure that ClickShare Desktop App is not running in the background. A password must be entered for the remote Button pairing, see. If you are pairing Button using the Button Manager software check the following:Įnsure Remote Pairing service is enabled in the Base Unit WebUI ( WiFi & Network > Services).When this process takes more than 5 minutes, something might be wrong. As long as no errors are reported, it might still be updating in the background (even if the progress bar does not advance). This can take a couple of minutes, please allow sufficient time. When pairing the Button for the first time or after an update, the Button will update its own firmware.In case any of the above signals are present, the following actions can help you troubleshoot the problem: the Button update seems to take much longer than usual.a message is shown on the Base Unit screen.If your ClickShare Button fails to pair, this will be indicated by either of the following signals: The UV light shows the answer on the white board. Now a nine-digit screen will apear under the large screen. Use the scewdriver on the small hatch under the screen. Press the button 6 more times for the scewdriver.
